Biography
Jake is a pianist currently studying Masters of Music (Piano Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Jake has performed solo recitals in Australia, South Korea, Spain, United States and Switzerland. Jake was awarded the Theme and Variations Foundation Grant to support his studies in piano. He was also awarded grants from Bouddi Foundation for the Arts. He was awarded first prize in the United States International Music Competition. Jake was the winner of both Best Liszt Performance Award and Best Prokofiev Performance Award hosted by the Global Great Composer’s Competition.
Jake was awarded first prize in the Golden Classical Music Awards. As a winner, he was invited and performed in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. He was also invited to perform in Vienna after winning an International Music Competition. He was the winner of the London Young Artists Award, Golden Arts International Music Competition and the Charleston International Piano Competition. He also recently performed in Teatro Joffre in Spain, participating in the Ferrol International Piano Competition. Jake was awarded the George Henderson Scholarship from The University of Sydney that funded his participation in the International Summer Piano Academy in Disentis, Switzerland.

Jake is currently working as a school accompanist at Baulkham Hills High School, accompanying senior students for their HSC exams. Many of the accompanied students have been nominated for encore and had outstanding HSC results.
